Turning a lighting rig into a musical instrument.
On February 8th I’ll be playing Colchester Arts Centre, with my newly formed ensemble featuring Sam Hollis on Bass and Ben Hunt on Drums. This performance, the culmination of my 18 month New Voices project, will use the venues lighting rig to create music that fills the room. Expect electronic minimalist soundscapes with twists of krautrock inspired rhythmic improvisation.
